We don’t have a ton of counter space at our house. As a result, the really heavy mixer we had sits underneath and barely comes out because of its heaviness and dauntingness at cleaning. We’ve found ourselves handbeating way too much. Figured a handheld with dishwasher safe attachments would do the trick, but we’d have to trade off effectiveness for power. Whoa was I mistaken. We’ve used this a bunch so far and never have even gotten off 1 setting power. Part of it was a learning curve on how to position the beater and how to move it around relative to bowl positioning. About halfway through the first use we settled on proper use and no turning back. A few things stand out. The power I mentioned. But the shape of this one is what intrigued me because most are thick underneath the mixers and the weight runs horizontal. This one has a shape like a spray paint container, in which the guts (power and battery ) run perpendicular or vertical. This creates a very different feeling and frankly was smartly designed. The last thing that stood out as really smart to me was the storage option. When not in use there’s a plastic job that inserts where the blades would go. This keeps stuff out from the rotary portion and makes sure you don’t lose the parts. Well-designed, extremely powerful and not heavy. Extremely happy we took a chance on the shape of this one.

My son gave this to me for Christmas after the motor on mine went. The power is super strong. You only have to use #1 for pudding. I can not wait to make one of my homemade cake. Very pleased with it. Only question on the box it says you can remove cord. I tried did not work. Fits right next to my coffeemaker.
